Business Development Manager
Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote | Temporary Assignment
We are seeking a results-driven and collaborative Business Development Manager for a temporary assignment in Toronto, ON. In this role, you'll drive new business opportunities by leveraging market research, networking, and social selling. The ideal candidate excels at strategic outreach and thrives in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
What You'll Do
- Identify and research strategic target verticals and markets
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to build and execute demand generation campaigns
- Generate and qualify leads using customer data, business metrics, and behavioral insights
- Engage prospects through intelligent outreach—tailored calls, emails, video, and virtual demos
- Develop impactful campaign emails and leverage digital tools for outreach and lead nurturing
- Network and nurture relationships to increase trust and build a strong referral base
- Create and manage Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) to drive business growth
- Execute on programs supporting reseller and referral initiatives
- Track engagement and outcomes in CRM systems; use sales intelligence platforms for targeted outreach
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales or marketing
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Independent, goal-oriented, and able to deliver results with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to identify, develop, and implement effective sales strategies
- Networking and social selling expertise; familiar with digital sales tools
Work Schedule
- Hybrid: 3 days a week in office, 2 days remote
Compensation: $28.85/hour
