• 1st Shift 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Monday to Friday
Employment Type: Contract-Permanent (depending on performance)
What's a typical day as a Buyer? You will:

Support transactional purchasing activities for raw materials, MRO, and non-inventory items
-
Release and update purchase orders in alignment with production schedules (MPS changes)
-
Monitor open purchase orders to ensure timely closure or updates
-
Maintain supplier communication to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any disruptions
-
Assist in supplier performance tracking and basic reporting
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
Minimum:
-
Option 1: 3+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management
-
Option 2: 1+ years of related experience with a relevant bachelor's degree
Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field with a specialization in Supply Chain Management
-
Equivalent combination of training and work experience accepted in lieu of a degree
Preferred Skills/Knowledge:
-
Supplier negotiation and relationship management
-
Procure-to-Payment (P2P) processes
-
Inventory management and lead-time reduction strategies
-
Cost savings and risk mitigation initiatives
