CalAIM Project Manager
**Up to $140K/year DOE**
*Hybrid role in San Mateo County, CA*

Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for an CalAIM Project Manager for a contract staffing solicitation supporting San Mateo County Health.  This assignment should last approximately one year.

Job Description:
CalAIM enables the jail to bill Medi-Cal for services provided during incarceration, representing a significant shift in day-to-day operations. To meet Medi-Cal compliance requirements, the entire jail must align with strict regulatory standards. As part of this effort, HIT will need to implement changes across multiple Epic modules, including ClinDOC, Orders, Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), Grand Central, Claims, and Population Health.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The project manager will manage cross-functional project team.
  • Develop and maintain project plan and ensure project milestones and tasks are completed on budget and on schedule
  • Manage risks and issues log
  • The Project Manager will organize the teams to comply with CalAIM initiative that will impact SMC's clinical systems (i.e. Epic).
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the CalAIM Project within CHS.
  • Developing the Project Charter, creating and maintaining a detailed Project Plan, and actively managing the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies)
  • The Project Manager will also facilitate regular project meetings, provide clear and timely project status updates, and ensure deliverables align with quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • This role requires strong collaboration across cross-functional teams, effective communication with internal and external partners, and the ability to navigate shifting priorities while keeping the project on track.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and reporting is essential

Required:
  • The Project Manager must be located in California, with a strong preference for candidates in the Bay Area.
  • The selected individual must also be able to pass a background check and obtain clearance for access to the jail facility.
  • Five to seven (5–7) years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare or public sector environments
  • Experience with the CalAIM initiative
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Epic systems (certification not required)
  • Experience as a business analyst or in roles involving requirements gathering and workflow documentation
