As a Seasonal Benefit Customer Service Representative, you'll guide plan participants through the enrollment process and help them make updates to their health care and pension plans. You'll provide compassionate, accurate, and timely support—primarily over the phone, with opportunities to assist via chat and message center as you grow.
What You'll Do:
- Build rapport with plan participants and respond to inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Translate complex benefit information into clear, actionable guidance
- Handle sensitive data in compliance with HIPAA and data privacy standards
- Document calls and cases thoroughly and accurately
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
- Support additional duties as needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Comfort working in a structured, virtual environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multitasking across multiple systems
- Ability to type at least 30 words per minute
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior customer service experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Experience with health and welfare or defined benefit pension plans
- Call center background
- Spanish language proficiency
- 40 hours/week during peak season, with overtime as needed
- 32–40 hours/week during training and off-season
- Flexible scheduling based on client needs
- Work from the comfort of your home
