We are seeking a Career Continuum Coordinator to work at our client's college location in Auburn Hills, Michigan. You willbe the vital connector between secondary schools, college, and industry—empowering students to discover, learn, and launch into high-wage, in-demand jobs! Champion the "earn while you learn" model and transform lives in underserved communities.

  • Work Schedule: MF 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Length of contract: June 30, 2026 (possible opportunity for it to be extended
  • Pay rate: $26-$28 per hour

  • Help students navigate career exploration through interviews, assessments, and individualized support.
  • Coordinate hands-on work-based learning opportunities, including internships, apprenticeships, co-ops, and industry partnerships.
  • Design engaging activities and programs that spark career interest and connect academics to real-world careers.
  • Stay at the forefront of labor market and industry trends—provide up-to-date info about roles, required education, and pathways from high school to degree attainment and beyond.
  • Coach students in resume writing, interviewing, job search strategies, and networking to boost employability.
  • Lead partner meetings, workshops, and sessions—bringing schools, OCC, and business leaders together for maximum impact.
  • Track and evaluate program success so every student gets the best possible outcome.
  • Support credit and non-credit programs, expanding access for all students—including those from underserved backgrounds.
  • Be part of a passionate team creating opportunity, equity, and career readiness in the Auburn Hills community.
Required experience to be successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or related field.
  • Experience working with youth/secondary schools. (Going into classrooms to provide engaging, tactile, hands-on activities relevant to middle and high school students.
  • Work base learning project experience (internships, apprenticeships, and job shadowing, that help participants explore careers, develop job-specific and soft skills, and build professional networks)
  • Energetic communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are important.
  • Must be a good multi-tasker, scheduler, time manager and an active listener.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of designing spreadsheets and maintaining databases is a plus.
  • Three years of experience in student placement, career services, advising, or workforce development.
  • Experience with the manufacturing/skilled trades/aerospace and military/defense industry preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM preferred.
