- Perform critical water and wastewater analyses, including tests for pH, solids, alkalinity, hardness, volatile acids, and more.
- Accurately prepare and calibrate chemical reagents and laboratory equipment.
- Participate in special projects and gather wastewater samples.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality with meticulous record-keeping.
- Contribute to daily lab operations—data entry, cleaning glassware, and supporting laboratory workflow.
- Recent graduate or early-career professional passionate about chemistry, biology, or environmental science.
- Eager to learn technical skills in a laboratory environment.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication and a proactive attitude.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks independently.
- Brings creativity, initiative, and an openness to feedback and improvement.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field (with laboratory coursework), OR
at least one year of experience working in an environmental or similar regulated laboratory. - Solid understanding of laboratory procedures, safety practices, and foundational math and science.
- Proficient with laboratory equipment, sample analysis, calculations, and data management.
- Physically able to fulfill essential laboratory responsibilities.
