Materials Handling Operator – North Augusta, SC
Join our team as a Materials Handling Operator at our North Augusta manufacturing site. You'll safely handle and move materials, help with loading/unloading trucks and containers, monitor utilities, document activities, and maintain a clean work environment.
Main Tasks:
- Follow and promote plant safety rules
- Load/unload trucks, drums, and containers
- Monitor process utilities and alarms
- Package finished products and fill drums
- Clean equipment and maintain housekeeping
- Complete documentation as per cGMP standards
- Learn new tasks under supervision and report incidents
- Work flexible and overtime hours as required
Schedule & Pay:
- Pay Rate: $20.60 per hour
- Rotating 4-day schedule: Work 4 days on (days), 4 days off, then 4 days on (nights), and repeat
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prefer experience in manufacturing and forklift operation
- Prefer bulk truck loading and wastewater operator license (training available)
- Basic math, computer, and communication skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Ability to operate forklifts and use safety equipment
- OSHA Certification
- Previous experience working in a chemical manufacturing facility
Work Environment:
- Independent work on trained tasks, daily reporting to Shift Supervisor
