Kelly Services is seeking an experienced 1st Shift CNC Lathe Operator with setup experience—specifically setting up parts on lathe machines—are strongly preferred.
This is a temporary 90-day role with the potential for extension or full-time placement depending on performance and business needs.
$25.00 Per Hour
Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 5:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC and manual lathe machines to produce precision components.
- Set up and adjust lathe machines for different part runs (preferred but not required).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Monitor machine performance, make necessary adjustments, and inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and reporting issues.
- Keep work area clean and organized in compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Prior experience operating lathe machines required.
- Setup experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with CNC and manual machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must wear steel-toe boots.
