  • Pay Rate: $25.66/hr
  • Location: Savannah, GA
  • Schedule: Full time, Onsite, 03:00 PM – 01:30 AM, 2nd shift
  • Employment Type: Contract, 12 months

 

What's a typical day as a CNC Technician I? You will:

  • Operate automated CNC machines using existing programs under supervision. 
  • Remove and replace cutting tools and adjust offsets as needed, inspecting tool condition and performing replacements when required. 
  • Inspect cut materials and parts before CNC operation to ensure compliance with blueprints, models, and engineering specifications. 
  • Identify materials, select appropriate cutting tools, and set up materials for machining operations. 
  • Monitor material supply and validate preventive maintenance tasks; report any maintenance or repair needs. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with 5S and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production efficiency and quality. 

 

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • Experience in an automated machine or CNC environment preferred 
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language 
  • Flexibility to work any assigned shift 
  • Physically capable of climbing ladders, stairs, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs
