Construction Finance Manager
Location: Onsite in Rosharon, TX
Salary: $120,000-150,000

Kelly Services has partnered with a rapidly growing electrical construction company to find a talented Construction Finance Manager.  We're seeking a hands-on, process-oriented leader to manage, coach, and develop a team of Project Administrators and Coordinators. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of construction industry knowledge and strong accounting skills but not be limited to traditional accounting roles. You'll work closely with operations teams, dig deep into project financials, and help streamline the field and office processes for greater efficiency. Apply today for immediate consideration!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of a team of project administrators and coordinators.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to support growth, skill-building, and problem-solving.
  • Oversee project accounting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Analyze transactions and results in the ERP system; ensure project-level financial reporting is robust.
  • Manage accruals, WIP schedules, and project budgets.
  • Drive process improvements in construction accounting, setting up budgets, measuring progress, and reporting.
  • Serve as a point of contact for operational staff (e.g., general foremen) to understand field needs.
  • Collaborate on reviewing work orders, improving efficiency, and streamlining field processes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of improved accounting and project controls, purchase order systems, and ERP integrations.
  • Champion a culture of Financial Planning & Analysis and continuous process feedback.

Requirements:
  • Experience in construction or project-based accounting
  • Solid understanding of project financials, job costing, accruals, WIP, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and field/operations teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • High attention to detail with a drive to improve processes.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with fast-paced, high-volume service.
