What's a typical day as a Credit Analyst? You'll be:
- Reviewing and resolving customer orders placed on hold or blocked
- Monitoring order shipment flow to maintain prompt payment on current balances
- Performing standard collections activities for low-impact accounts
- Assigning deduction management notes (DMC) for disputed invoices
- Collaborating with customer service to ensure export documentation compliance
- Processing commission payments accurately and on schedule
- Resolving remittance misapplications, offsets, and account discrepancies
- Conducting basic account reconciliations and working with banks for reporting needs
- Mentoring less experienced team members and contributing to process improvements
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Availability for a flexible 10-hour workweek between Monday and Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
