Custodian – $22/hr – Roanoke, TX
Temp-to-Hire | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

Our client, a leading advanced materials manufacturer, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to join their Facilities and Maintenance team at their Fort Worth Magnetics site. This is a great opportunity to step into a long-term role with a well-established and safety-focused company.

Pay and Schedule:

• $22.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

• Temp-to-hire position

Location:

• Roanoke, TX (Fort Worth Magnetics Facility)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform daily and routine cleaning in offices, breakrooms, restrooms, labs, and production areas

• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces

• Sanitize high-touch areas and restock cleaning and restroom supplies

• Dispose of trash and industrial waste according to safety protocols

• Handle light maintenance tasks (e.g., filter changes, bulb replacement)

• Support spill response and cleanup involving oils or shop materials

• Maintain outdoor walkways and loading dock areas, including snow/ice removal as needed

• Operate auto scrubbers, vacuums, and floor buffers

• Keep janitorial closets organized and report supply needs

• Assist with meeting setup, furniture moves, and equipment relocation

• Participate in safety and 5S initiatives to support a clean, hazard-free environment

Why You'd Be a Good Fit:

• You have at least 6 months of experience in custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning roles

• You're comfortable working independently and can follow written or verbal instructions

• You understand safety procedures, SDS, and proper chemical handling

• You're physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout your shift

• You're detail-oriented and take pride in maintaining a clean, orderly space

• You're willing to support flexible scheduling needs including occasional overtime or weekends
