Customer Service Administrator – Email Support Location: Farmington, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Full-Time
Pay: $19.00-$20.00/hour
Employment Type: Long-Term Temp
We're hiring an organized and detail-driven Customer Service Coordinator to support the Spare Parts, Service, and Applications. This role is primarily off the phones and focuses on managing the Customer Service inbox, processing customer requests, assigning orders, and coordinating email communication. You'll also handle software downloads and shipments—tasks that must be executed quickly and accurately.
What You'll Do
- Manage the Customer Service shared inbox and respond to client inquiries via email
- Assign incoming orders and route requests to the correct internal teams
- Download, prepare, and ship software packages to customers as needed
- Maintain strong written communication with customers and internal departments
- Process quotes, orders, and updates with a high degree of accuracy
- Use SAP and internal systems to enter data and manage customer requests
- Follow all communication standards, procedures, and policies
- Maintain professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service
- Previous customer service experience required (email-based preferred)
- Strong written communication and accurate data-entry skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Patient, diplomatic approach to customer interaction
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP/CRM systems
- Ability to work on-site daily—this role requires handling time-sensitive software requests
- High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred
