Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Customer Support Representative I to ensure our customers receive timely and accurate information about their orders and inquiries. This position is critical to maintaining our standards of excellence in service and accuracy within the fast-paced aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Process and track customer orders, confirming accuracy in part numbers, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain and update customer records in company databases and Excel spreadsheets.
- Generate and analyze Excel reports for order tracking, inventory control, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping departments to ensure successful, timely product delivery.
- Provide order status updates and resolve basic customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Assist in preparing quotes, invoices, and customer documentation.
- Support the Customer Service team with special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1–2+ years of customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data sorting, pivot tables).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Team-oriented, positive, professional attitude.
- Experience in manufacturing or aerospace industry a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP or order management systems.
- Ability to sit, type, and use a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting up to 35 lbs may be required.
