Title: Cybersecurity and Laboratory Computing Technician
Location: Collegeville, PA 19426
Monday to Friday (Onsite)
Contract: 12 months
Cybersecurity and Laboratory Computing Technician
- Resource for various cybersecurity small projects supporting a major cybersecurity program and support lab PC repair, configuration, and replacement.
- Ensure devices are compliant with security standards and assist clients with troubleshooting and fixes related to cybersecurity as well as assist clients with the installation of hardware, hardware diagnostics, networking, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs including reconfiguration of group policies, network configuration, and removal of unapproved software.
- Also assist clients with the installation of operating systems, computer security software and application software.
- As needed, provide technical assistance to our user community with the configuration of peripherals like lab instruments, printers, etc.
- Resource for various other small projects. Handle Service Now support tickets and drive to a solution for internal clients.
- Work with other internal/external service providers to collaborate on services and solutions.
- Asset lifecycle management and recycling of hardware. Management of Client Support Device's and records.
The experience in the following areas are preferred:
- Windows O/S upgrades
- Defender security software
- CSD compliance and Patching, including patch servers.
- ServiceNow vulnerability ticket handling
- ServiceNow incident and request ticket SLA fulfillment.
- Firewall and networking devices.
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid team environment (multi-site)

- Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose network and software/OS problems.

- Bending, stooping, walking, and lifting in excess of 25 pounds required.
- An associate's degree in electronics or computer technology is preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Requires at least 3+ years general Windows support experience.
- Cybersecurity knowledge is preferred.
- Physical required.
