Job Overview Kelly is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our client's team in Little Rock, AR. This role is responsible for accurate and confidential data entry supporting medical documentation and patient records.   • Insert customer and account data by inputting text/numeric information from source documents within given time limits
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Review data for errors, correct incompatibilities, and check output
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Apply data program techniques and procedures
  • Generate reports, store completed work, and perform backup operations
  • Scan documents and print files as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Respond to queries and access relevant files
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment; address malfunctions
  • Maintain current knowledge of patient databases and billing systems
  • Enter patient information into computer systems
  • Review and understand medical documentation
  • Interact professionally with physicians, patients, families, and colleagues
  • Answer telephone and communicate information appropriately
  • Collaborate with management and co-workers for patient benefit
  • Contact patients for clinical follow-ups and document in EMR
  • Complete other office or accreditation duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties and office equipment (fax, scanner, etc.)
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to focus
  • Motivated; able to work independently and follow direction
  • Ability to compose correspondence and reports
  • Skill in preparing summaries of work/projects
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Clear and concise communication across multiple levels
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
  • Excellent attendance history as that is critical for this role
  • Ability to work onsite; M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. schedule
