Material Handler – Twist Bioscience
Location: 26600 SW Parkway Ave, Wilsonville, OR 97070
Openings: 2-5
Pay Rate: $20/hr (Level I), $22/hr (Level II)

About the Role:
Twist Bioscience is seeking motivated and reliable Material Handlers to join our growing biotechnology company in Wilsonville, OR. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are looking for long-term career growth. Material Handlers will be responsible for inventory management, material coordination, and general warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, store, and track materials using SAP, ERP, or other inventory systems

Pick, pack, and move materials safely within the facility

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment

Maintain organized and accurate inventory records

Collaborate with shipping/receiving, planning, and purchasing teams

Follow safety protocols and use PPE provided

Support special projects and cross-functional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Prior material handling experience preferred; candidates from food/beverage manufacturing backgrounds are welcome
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform continuous standing/movement

Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
-
Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

Software experience (SAP, ERP) helpful but not required
Schedule & Training:
-
Initial training: Week 1 Mon-Fri, 9 am – 5 pm
-
Post-training: 4x10 shift schedule including at least one weekend day (with shift differential)

Holiday pay: 2x base rate (warehouse team typically does not work Mondays)
