Direct Hire Punch Press Operator
1st shift: 7am to 7pm
3rd shift: 11pm to 7:15am Sunday - Friday
Pay: $19.50 -$26.50 based on experience

We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Punch Press Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating punch press machinery and related secondary equipment to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining production standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate punch press machines and assist with secondary equipment.

Manually feed material into machinery and ensure consistent material flow.

Handle materials using a forklift and support general department operations.

Measure and document finished products to verify adherence to quality standards.

Perform operator-level maintenance tasks and assist technicians during major equipment breakdowns.

Sort and separate non-conforming parts as required.

Maintain a clean and organized work area by following 5S principles.

Report and document equipment malfunctions to supervisors and the maintenance department, including completing maintenance request forms.

Complete all required production and inspection documentation accurately and on time.

Participate in special projects as assigned by management or team leads.

Follow all Stop, Call, Wait safety procedures and maintain compliance with written and verbal directives.

Protect the confidentiality of proprietary company information.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience operating punch press or similar industrial equipment preferred.

Forklift operation experience is a plus.

Strong understanding of quality and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions, complete documentation, and contribute to team goals.
