Kelly Services is hiring an EDM Operator (Sinker or Wire) in Farmington!
If you take pride in precision machining and enjoy working on complex, tight-tolerance components, this role puts your EDM skills to work. You'll operate and set up EDM Sinker or Wire machines to support tooling and high-accuracy part production in a clean, modern machining environment with long-term growth potential.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate EDM Sinker or EDM Wire equipment
- Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and tooling specs
- Select correct electrodes, wire, offsets, and machining parameters
- Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools
- Maintain tight tolerances on complex punch, die, and tooling features
- Adjust and troubleshoot EDM processes for optimal results
- Help improve machining workflows and tooling methods
- Support 5S standards and routine machine maintenance
What You'll Bring
- Experience operating EDM Sinker or EDM Wire in a tooling or production environment
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement inspection skills
- Knowledge of offsets, setup, and process adjustments
- Ability to work independently with a detail-driven and safety-focused approach
- Familiarity with tooling, workholding, and precision machining fundamentals
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Full-Time
- $23.00–$30.00/hr DOE | Weekly Pay
