ELECTRICAL ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN - $26/HR

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $26/hr., 40 hrs/wk plus potential overtime, 6:30-3:00, Potential temp to perm

What's a typical day as an Electrical Assurance Technician? You'll be:
• Inspecting and testing manufactured electrical control cabinets and panels based on internal quality requirements and procedures.
• Conducting powered-on testing and diagnostic processes for various types of electronic controls packaged in cabinets and enclosures.
• Inspecting incoming goods to ensure consistency and integrity based on client requirements.
• Reporting key quality issues and concerns to management and quality personnel as necessary.
• Supporting manufacturing personnel through training of quality standards as required.
• Supporting higher level quality activities such as process auditing of internal and specialty compliance agency processes such as UL and CSA.
• Maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting all testing instrumentation devices, logging calibration devices, and maintaining calibration records.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma.
• Have a minimum of two years of experience as a Wire Technician building electrical control cabinets.
• Are able to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
• Are computer literate.
• Have intermediate ability using Excel.
• Have strong proven organizational skills.
• Have a mature orientation toward work responsibilities.
• Are able to stand for long periods of time.
• Are willing to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays.
• Have a background that includes experience as a quality technician (preferred).
• Have experience using Oracle or similar MRP system (preferred).
