Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team. This position requires a journeyman certificate in both Electrical/Electronic T.M. A and Mechanical Technician T.M. A, or equivalent qualifications. The role involves laying out, installing, and maintaining a variety of electrical/electronic systems, diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Layout, install, and maintain conventional and computerized electrical/electronic systems for plant properties.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/electronic problems and perform necessary remedies.
  • Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC programs.
  • Assemble, disassemble, repair, rebuild, and overhaul machines both mechanically and electrically/electronically.
  • Rebuild, repair, and install machine components and parts.
  • Conduct bench and machining operations requiring close tolerances.
  • Operate lathes, grinders, milling machines, and other machine shop equipment.
  • Safely transport hazardous materials within company property.
  • Utilize and manage electrical/electronic measuring and monitoring equipment.
  • Perform arc, TIG, and acetylene welding work along with heat-treating operations.
  • Occasionally perform carpentry and painting tasks.
  • Follow the organization's preventive maintenance schedule rigorously.
  • Maintain a high level of quality in all work performed.
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Technician certifications required.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in programming and maintaining PLC systems.
  • Skilled in mechanical assembly and repair of machinery.
  • Experience with machine shop equipment and capability to hold close tolerances.
  • Knowledge of safe transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Competent in welding techniques and heat treatment operations.
  • Strong adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
