Salary: $15.00 per/hour
*Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Puerto Rico.
Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and troubleshooting techniques. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and identify appropriate solutions.
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for defects, hazards, and the need for adjustments or repairs.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations (e.g., NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Use a variety of electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters, ammeters, and voltage testers.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Install and maintain lighting systems.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- "Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician"
- Thorough knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations (NEC).
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting, bending, and working at heights.
- *Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Puerto Rico.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
