Electronic Assembler
Base Pay: $17.25 per hour
2nd Shift 3:00PM -11:00 PM

The Associate Electronic Assembler is responsible for assembling a variety of electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and optical components to create sub-assemblies and finished products. This role requires following detailed written instructions, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining compliance with safety, ESD, and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform soldering tasks in accordance with J-STD standards and maintain capability through testing and certification.

Follow blueprints, work instructions, and documented processes to ensure product accuracy and consistency.

Inspect parts, assemblies, and final products throughout the production process to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Conduct production tests on assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products using manual, semi-automatic, and automatic test equipment.

Operate a wide range of hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.

Understand and adhere to ESD requirements at all times.

Rotate through various manufacturing processes within a team/cell environment as assigned.

Perform scheduled overtime as required to meet production goals.

Use basic computer applications for documentation, tracking, and communication.

Complete preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery.

Maintain clean, organized work areas and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Follow all safety rules, including use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding equipment status, parts availability, and production issues.

Minimum of 6 months experience as an electronic assembler with demonstrated soldering proficiency.

Ability to complete and pass J-STD soldering certification and skills evaluation.

Basic knowledge of soldering and assembly practices.

Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and written work instructions.

Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day; ability to bend, stoop, use hands for fine assembly, and lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.

Unaided or corrected visual acuity of at least 20/40 in each eye at 20 feet, with the ability to distinguish colors.

Basic computer skills required.

This position operates in a manufacturing environment that may involve standing for extended periods, using hand tools and assembly equipment, and wearing PPE as required.
