FS&RE Engineering Intern, Indianapolis, IN
Kelly Services is seeking an Engineering Intern. Must be a current Engineering student with interest in facilities and maintenance. CAD Experience (Computer Aided Design) for one of our top clients.
Duration: 1 Year
Type: Contract W2
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr. (W2)
Shift Times: 7 am – 5 pm Flexible (20 hours)

Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the Engineering & Reliability Leader, the engineering intern is responsible to successfully navigate engineering requests and aid in data gathering while learning project management and facility maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Personal Safety
- Learn and Work safely within the company site safety requirements.
- Must be able to walk site, climb ladders, hot/ cold work environments, and wear proper Personnel Protective Equipment as needed at all times.
- Actively participate in safety activities and follow all safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Working on a B.S. in Engineering or equivalent. Preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Management Diversity: Must be able to budget time effectively and efficiently to organize their workload.
- Human Relations: Interpersonal skills include interacting with Maintenance and Operations personnel, union and non-union contract labor and companies, management, engineering peers, and R&D personnel.
Problem Solving:
- Be able to apply problem-solving techniques used in engineering classes to accomplish responsibilities outlined previously.
Other Significant Factors:
