Job Title: Demand Planner
Location: Port Washington, NY 11050
Shift/Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $47.86/hour
Work Setup: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create and maintain demand forecasts at customer, brand, and SKU levels.

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and demand drivers to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Finance).

  • Monitor KPIs such as fill rates, backorders, and forecast error.

  • Generate and present reports, dashboards, and insights for leadership.

  • Lead forecast meetings and influence decision-making for production and inventory planning.

  • Support and mentor an indirect report, including training and development.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or similar role.

  • Strong analytical, statistical, and quantitative skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas), strong PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 proficiency.

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

  • Experience with planning software and database tools (query building, report manipulation).

  • Ability to influence peers, lead meetings, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Preferred: Experience in fashion/accessories industry, Order Management cycles, SAP Business Objects, Power BI/Tableau, programming (Python, Visual Basic, DAX).
