Position: Field Service Technicians
Type: Contract (1+ year)
Location: Bellevue, WA
Hourly Pay Range: $37.50 - $41.25 (based on level of experience)
*MUST have the ability to travel extensively (70-80% ~250 days/year) throughout the US and internationally*

Overview
As a Field Service Technician, you will be instrumental in commissioning and supporting water treatment plants, acting as a vital link between engineering design and on-site operations. Your technical proficiency and problem-solving skills will ensure that complex process equipment and control systems perform to specifications, helping clients achieve their operational goals. With a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, you'll be working in different environments, including international sites, to deliver hands-on service, technical training, and after-market support that set the standard for excellence in water treatment solutions.
Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment commissioning
  • Proficiency in controlling and troubleshooting PLC/HMI systems, including IO checkout and network setup
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, mathematical calculations, and chemistry formulas
  • Experience with control system factory acceptance testing and performance validation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Effective communication skills for providing technical instruction and training
  • Ability to work independently and manage outside vendor activities effectively
  • Physical ability to perform site inspections, lift up to 25 pounds, and adapt to outdoor environments
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with control system programming, ladder logic, and function blocks
  • Familiarity with water chemistry calculations and quality monitoring
  • Multilingual skills for international site support
  • Previous experience working abroad or in remote work camp settings
  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in industrial environments
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Engineering, Water Treatment, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in water treatment, plant commissioning, or related technical roles
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and operate complex equipment and processes efficiently
Other Requirements
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work in various outdoor and remote environments, including foreign countries and work camps
  • Valid certifications relevant to water treatment or safety standards (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong safety mindset aligned with client's standards and practices
