Sanitation Food Specialist

Job Summary:

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Appleton, WI
- Pay Rate: $20/HR
- Shift: Tuesday through Saturday (5:00 PM – 1:30 AM; Saturday 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Follow directives from the supervisor to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning tasks.
- Utilize safety equipment when handling caustic chemicals per individual SSOP.
- Clean various types of dough and residue off machinery, equipment, and structural items.
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize pots, pans, mixing bowls, machinery, conveyors, ovens, and more.
- Degrease equipment as needed/scheduled.
- Mop, deck brush, and squeegee floors during washdowns as instructed.
- Clean ceilings, pipes, and non-production areas as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning performed as required.
- Inspect assigned areas before notifying the supervisor of task completion.
- Assist in training other workers and perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to listen and follow directions effectively.
- Basic English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to following safety and food safety policies and procedures.
- Willingness to work the assigned schedule, including weekends.
- One year of work experience in a food processing plant is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and self-motivated work ethic.
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and work as part of a team.
