Description

Shipping and Receiving Helper
Looking to gain experience and knowledge in the Shipping & Receiving industry? We have a great opportunity for you with our prominent client in Big Flats, NY.

While on a contract role with Kelly, you will be offered non-sponsored health, dental and vision insurance as well as Kelly Perks and Discounts.


Employment Type: Long Term temporary position 

Schedule:

  • Mon – Friday 8:00 am-4:30 
Starting Pay :
  • Up to $17.50 Depending on experience


Position Information:
Incoming Material handling- Unload product using fork truck. Breakdown skids, label, count, and note quantities for later reconciliation. Rack material with fork truck or picker lift.
Quality Control- Visually inspect incoming product and packaging.
Product Prep- Print product price tags using POS inventory system. Unpack, tag, and perform quality check on product. Repack product for secure storage and transportation.
Outgoing Material Handling- Accurate and efficient picking and processing of orders. Utilize picker lift and fork truck to retrieve product from multi-tier shelves and racking. Packing outgoing shipments for safe transportation. Update POS inventory system as needed.
Other Duties- Must be comfortable operating at heights. Periodically lift of up to 50 lbs. Cleaning and straightening of warehouse areas.



What kind of experience do you need to succeed?
  • Zero to one years related experience with forklift operation.
  • Ability to work well independently and with a team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
