We are seeking a Forklift Driver to support our client within the automotive manufacturing industry. The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely loading, unloading, moving, transporting, lifting, and lowering packages and materials within warehouse facilities. This role also manages receiving and delivering designated items to carriers, handles essential documentation, and ensures the organization and inventory of materials throughout the logistics area.
Salary/Payrate/Compensation: $20.50/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (maybe some overtime)

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and metal ramps to handle packages, containers, and pallets arriving, leaving, or stored in the warehouse.
- Receive and deliver materials as designated by the supervisor, including signing and obtaining signatures on shipping documents.
- Place received materials and containers in appropriate sections; organize and arrange packages for pre-shipment and final inspection areas.
- Load packages according to shipping order, ensuring prior inspection and proper pallet wrapping.
- Count, arrange, identify, and record containers, pallets, and lids received from clients.
- Conduct weekly inventories and report findings to the supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively as part of the logistics team; communicate any discrepancies, errors, or incidents promptly.
- Maintain healthy, safe, and organized work environment—adhering to safety, order, and cleanliness protocols at all times.
- Avoid damaging warehouse infrastructure and transported materials.
- Provide timely attention to carrier drivers and work efficiently under pressure.
- Comply with labor regulations, safety standards, environmental regulations, and energy management protocols as required.
- High school diploma or higher.
- Proficiency in English (required); Spanish language skills desirable.
- Basic computer skills, analytical logic, inventory management experience.
- Competent in forklift operation and safe use of metal ramps.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and material handling practices.
- Ability to convert measurements and calculate material volumes.
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to understand precise instruction.
- Sensitivity to the needs of automotive clients; capable of working quickly and efficiently under pressure.
