We're looking for an experienced Operator Mechanic to join a well-established production facility in Council Bluffs, IA. This 3rd shift role offers $24.87/hour with overtime opportunities. If you have at least 2 years of maintenance or related experience, can perform teardowns/set-ups, planned maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and hold LOTO/PIT certification, we'd love to hear from you.
 

Job Title: Operator Mechanic
Location: Council Bluffs, IA 51503
Schedule: Sunday night–Friday morning, 10:00 PM–8:00 AM (Overtime available)
Pay Rate: $24.87/hour
 

Essential Job Functions & Must-Haves:

  • Perform teardowns and set-ups of assigned equipment, including completion of start-up checklist

  • Conduct Planned Maintenance (PM) on assigned equipment

  • Complete assigned corrective/maintenance work orders

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently

  • Perform code verifications on individual/masters

  • Replace parts such as motors, gearboxes, hoses, and pins

  • Participate in production line drumbeats and make minor line adjustments

  • Complete required reports (PM, work orders, parts requisitions, etc.)

  • LOTO/PIT certification required

  • Knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, piping, power transmission, welding, machining, and electrical basics

  • Ability to move up to 75 lbs

  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance or related experience

  • High school diploma or GED (Technical School preferred)
