We're seeking a Hospital Bed Refurbishment Technician to work at a premier healthcare solutions provider in Sanford, NC. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay: $18-22/hr based on experience 

Shift: 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri 

What's a typical day look like?

  • Disassembling, cleaning, and inspecting hospital beds for defects, damage, or malfunctioning components
  • Repairing and replacing damaged or worn-out parts including frames, wheels, mattresses, electrical components, and accessories
  • Ensuring proper functionality and structural integrity of refurbished beds
  • Applying necessary adjustments to meet safety and ergonomic standards
  • Conducting thorough quality checks and testing all bed features to ensure optimal operation and safety
  • Implementing and documenting quality control procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, restocking needs, and consumables
  • Coordinating with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily targets • Communicating quality concerns or production issues as needed
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and using PPE as required
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent 
  • Are skilled with hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and calibration devices 
  • Possess experience with inspections, calibrations, and routine maintenance (preferred)
  • Have a willingness to learn and work with various equipment, software, and diagnostic systems
  • Have knowledge of hospital bed functionality (a plus)
  • Are detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to follow instructions and safety protocols
  • Possess strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Have the physical ability to lift heavy objects and work for extended periods
