PAY: $23/hr 

SHIFT: 7am-4pm Mon-Fri 
POSITION PURPOSE
 In this role, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide effective administrative support for the Human Resources department by creating, streamlining and maintaining administrative processes. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with HRIS transactions including processing employee job changes, hires/terminations, etc.
  • Support recruitment activities by receiving approved job requisitions, posting positions, and scheduling interviews.
  • Responsible for assisting in the creative input, planning and execution of site-wide culture events.
  • Assist with on-boarding, performance management, development plans, talent review and other related activities.
  • Become involved in various meetings and conference calls as well job shadow at various levels of the department to develop knowledge of the HR field.
  • Support employees leave of absence (LOA) management.
  • Assist with time and attendance, setting up time clock badges, record management in time and attendance system (Workday).
  • Track, administer and follow through to completion on HR programs including employee service awards, referral bonuses, etc.
  • Prepare and run reports in HRIS.
  • Maintain personnel files, active and terminated.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources (HR) support role.
  • Has earned or is pursuing a bachelor's degree, ideally in Human Resources or related field.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Have proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) - Workday preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint). Intermediate/Advanced Excel, Workday or SAP experience preferred.
  • Experience in an administrative or support role in a corporate or business environment preferred.
  • Ability to own a project from beginning to completion.
  • Proven strength in analysis and creative problem solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and projects.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures; is resourceful & leverages internal and external resources.
  • Takes initiative and has a passion for process improvement.
  • Actively contribute to both personal and company-wide goals through creative and innovative thinking.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
  • Previous Internship experience in a Human Resources discipline preferred.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS SPECIFIC TO THIS POSITION:
The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently sits, works on a computer, and speaks on the phone. The employee occasionally stands and walks. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Stress created with volume of work and time constraints necessary to complete.
