Job Posting: Human Resources Generalist

Contract to Hire Opportunity
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, coordinates timekeeping and payroll activities, staffing and recruitment, assists with bargaining unit agreements and contract negotiations, manages benefits for seasonal and bargaining unit employees, provides onsite support to non-bargaining employees, supports all employees through customer service and records maintenance, and assists with property management and special projects.
Major Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate with departments to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing and delivery
- Manage staffing and recruitment, ensuring compliance with laws and conducting new hire orientations
- Assist with contract administration, interpretation, disciplinary action, and grievance handling
- Support contract negotiations through proposal analysis and development
- Coordinate benefits programs, provide onsite enrollment and information support
- Prepare and distribute FMLA notices
- Prepare Multiple Worksite reports
- Identify and coordinate employee training activities
- Manage CDL driver programs (drug testing, medical certification, records maintenance)
- Maintain Workers' Comp records (accident reports, investigations, follow-up, return to work)
- Maintain HR Information System and personnel/benefit document filing in compliance with laws
- Assist with property management, special projects, and community activities
- Perform special assignments as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration (emphasis in Human Resources preferred)
- 3–5 years Human Resources experience
- 3–5 years payroll and HRIS software experience
- Knowledge of HR compliance laws, payroll, and benefits
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license with clean abstract
- Strong oral and written communication skills
