Length: ASAP through April 2026—with possibility of extension
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 830a-530p

About the Role

We're looking for an organized and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our Talent Engagement team on a contract through April 2026. In this role, you'll support HR operations including applicant tracking, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a collaborative and diverse environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system (NEOED) for recruitment, preboarding, and onboarding activities.
  • Partner with the Student Financial Resources and Scholarship (SFRS) department to coordinate student employment hiring and documentation.
  • Provide email and phone support to candidates with questions or system access issues.
  • Assist with closing recruitments and managing HR email inbox inquiries.
  • Respond to employment verification requests from external organizations.
  • Support HR events such as New Employee Orientation, professional development sessions, and employee recognition programs.
  • Update standard operating procedures and assist with reviewing background checks as needed.
  • Perform additional HR-related projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree or higher (or equivalent education).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in human resources, with experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, or HRIS systems.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with applicant tracking systemsNEOED preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
