What's a typical day as a Sales Assistant I? You'll be:
• Reviewing requests for quotations and relaying appropriate information to Engineering.
• Completing quotations with the support of the Sales Manager.
• Coordinating delivery, order entry, documentation, and any additional customer requirements.
• Working with other onsite personnel or vendor personnel to provide service, including pulling parts, cross-referencing descriptions, and entering orders.
• Expediting orders as requested by the customer through interactions with vendors.
• Acting as the customer's on-site expert by attending production and engineering meetings and providing appropriate follow-up.
• Providing support to all members of the sales team to facilitate optimal customer service from quote to delivery.
Requirements:
• Have strong computer skills.
• Have excellent time management, organization, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Have the ability to work 8-5 or 7-4 shifts.
• Have experience in the oil/gas industry (preferred).
