Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Location: Saint Louis 63110
Pay Rate: $18–$24 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, verifying materials, and ensuring all inventory transactions are properly logged and communicated within the warehouse and production areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain correct and accurate inventory records in the raw material warehouse by double-checking and verifying all weigh-up batches.
  • Ensure all incoming items are properly labeled with the appropriate Roha part numbers.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and as-needed counts for materials in the raw material and packaging areas.
  • Create and confirm all inventory log sheets in SAP in a timely fashion.
  • Complete assigned production activities during each shift and work necessary overtime as required.
  • Follow all safety rules and immediately report any incidents or accidents to the production supervisor.
  • Operate a stand-up forklift; must obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Perform daily and scheduled cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary work space.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives to reduce overall operational costs.
  • Accurately record and manage all inventory transactions within and outside PDMC Manchester Production Warehouse.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the production supervisor or management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a production or warehouse environment; chemical or industrial experience preferred.
  • Inventory control and warehouse operations experience required.
  • Mixing, blending, and weighing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-motivation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with common sense application in varying situations.
  • Must be able to perform basic math functions accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Able to pass a national criminal background check and drug test.
Physical and Work Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain high attention to detail for sustained periods.
  • Physically demanding role with lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 500 pounds with assistance or equipment.
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling (8+ hours).
  • Manual dexterity and full range of vision capabilities required (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).
  • Work conditions may include temperature extremes (20°F–115°F), dusty and dirty environments, and fast-paced settings with changing priorities based on customer needs.
  • Must be comfortable working independently and demonstrating initiative.
