IT Inventory Technician - Temporary
Hillsboro, Oregon
6 months contract (potential to extend)
Hourly pay starts at $26/hr + (DOE)

Inventory Management:

  • Identify and catalogue items in inventory system of record (ServiceNow).
  • Maintain equipment records in IT ServiceNow for accuracy.
  • Follow capital guidelines.
  • Support shipping & logistics document creation.
  • Support capital transfers in system of record.

Data & Reporting
  • Update reuse Savings Tracker.
  • Help maintain Inventory data in ServiceNow.
  • Be a super user for ServiceNow.
  • Ad-Hoc projects & cleanup efforts for IT assets.

ServiceNow Tickets
  • Fulfill customer ticket requests for inventory questions, capital process help, inventory discrepancies, new model requests, and scrap requests.
  • Update the ServiceNow equipment status such as “in-use/in-stock”.
  • Use Asset Management tool to update capital database when needed.
  • Create asset records as needed in ServiceNow.

Skills and Competencies
  • Comfortable with Excel (Pivot tables, large data sets, data management).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Systematic and thorough.
  • Proficient Computer skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Values accuracy.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Inventory & data management experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with test and measurement equipment and IT equipment a plus.
  • Able to work alone & with a team.
  • ServiceNow.
