Laboratory Analyst– Lodi, CA
 
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking innovative and highly motivated Laboratory Analyst for a Contract role with a Molecular and Diagnostics company in Lodi, CA. Pay Rate:
$29-30/hr- Day shift for candidates with relevant experience 
$26/hr for entry level candidates
 
Schedule:
Sun-Wed 5am-3:30pm
 
Contract: 12 months
 
Overview

  • Work safely with hazardous chemicals and strictly follow all safety policies
  • Promptly report safety concerns, injuries, or suggestions
  • Apply SOPs or scientific methods to perform routine tasks and problem-solving
 
  • Responsible for:
  • Bulk buffer formulation
  • Bead dropping using a beadulator
  • Loading/unloading lyophilizer
  • Sieving beads
  • Aliquoting and labeling reagents
  • Perform pH and Conductivity testing
  • Ensure accurate, real-time documentation (Right First Time – RFT)
  • Monitor equipment performance and report issues
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and manage inventory
  • Identify defects/issues and escalate appropriately
  • Recommend ideas for improving efficiency, quality, or safety
  • Perform other department-support tasks as assigned
 
Qualifications:
  • BS in life sciences with 0-1 years of experience
  • o OR High School degree (or equivalent experience) with 2-4 years of related work experience
  • o OR AA or Technical Trade Degree with 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Must be able to follow GMP – Good Manufacturing Practice and GLP – Good Laboratory Practice, FDA and ISO standards.
  • Must be able to follow direction, able to understand SOP – Standard Operating Procedures and demonstrate understanding through speech and/or written form.  
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences
    • Experience in GMP/ISO manufacturing environments
    • Previous Experience using analytical scales, pH, density, Conductivity and UV Spectrophotometers, Lyophilizer, Molecular assays, working with hazardous chemicals is a plus.
