Laboratory Technician – Austin, TX 78735

We're looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician with a background in Chemistry or Biology to help with product testing and data management. This role involves working with both internal teams and external third-party labs to ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized results. You'll receive comprehensive on-the-job training, but strong organizational skills and prior lab experience are essential. Job Responsibilities:

  • Test Coordination: Prepare test request forms (TRFs), coordinate and manage sample shipping to third-party labs, and track testing progress.
  • Laboratory Testing: Durability tests to check for resistance to impacts and drops, and thermal tests to measure insulation effectiveness.
  • Data Management: Collect test reports, maintain accurate records, and organize test results into a clear, easy-to-read format for internal use.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities meet company standards and testing requirements.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Record and analyze test results, document product performance, and report findings to the engineering and product development teams.
  • General Support: Assist with other lab-related tasks as needed.
Job Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a testing laboratory or support role is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with other data organization tools is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Effective communication and teamwork skills.
