What's a typical day as a Laser Welder / Custom Fabricator? You'll be:
• Performing laser, MIG, and TIG welding
• Engineering, cutting, welding, and inspecting custom retail signage and décor interior components
• Welding flat, vertical, and overhead
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean working environment
• Performing Quality Control checks and determining proper fabrication requirements
• Instructing others in the metal department and communicating stages and completion of metal products with other departments
• Working with team members, operation manager, and purchasing to meet deadlines, determine stock requirements, and inventory needs
• Handling other duties assigned on an as-required basis
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 1-3 years of laser welder experience
• Have 1-3 years of experience fabricating custom aluminum and steel components with MIG, TIG, and Laser welders
• Have the ability to read and follow shop drawings and specifications
• Can follow written and oral instructions
