Now Hiring: Line Lead – B Shift
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: $17.50–$19.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Are you a natural leader with experience managing small teams in a fast-paced production environment? We're hiring a Line Lead to support second shift operations for a well-established manufacturing client in Rochester, NY.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Set up jobs and organize tasks for the B shift team at the start of each shift
  • Train new hires and support team members (5–10 employees) throughout the shift
  • Monitor supply levels and retrieve necessary parts or materials for active job orders
  • Assist in production when the team is running smoothly and no direct support is needed
  • Track team attendance, late arrivals, and call-outs; maintain accurate records for the supervisor
  • Proactively reach out to employees who are absent or late to get ETA or absence reasons
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas, break rooms, and restrooms before the shift ends
  • Maintain logs of completed assignments and communicate updates as needed

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Previous experience leading a team of 5–10 employees in a production or manufacturing setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and lead by example
  • Must have reliable transportation
