Kelly® is looking for a Logistics Clerk to work at a premier client in Morrisville, NC. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career, all while being a vital part of your community.
The Logistics Clerk ensures the timely shipping of IDT products to customers, including picking, packing, and verifying customer orders. This position performs other shipping-related duties including consolidating packages and preparing manifests.
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.07 per hour
Shift: 10:00am-6:30pm 30-minute break Monday-Friday
What's a typical day as a Logistics Clerk? You'll be:
- Creates current and future shipping manifests
- Picks, packs, verifies, and processes customer orders using various software suites
- Consolidates packages destined for specific customers
- Prepares and processes small package shipments for personnel outside of the Logistics Group
- Manages department inventory and performs cycle counting
- Notifies Customer Care and Key Accounts personnel of incomplete/inaccurate customer addresses
- Makes Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings
- Delivers packages to local customers and to the Eastern Iowa Airport, when necessary

- High school diploma or equivalent required

Professional Experience:
- Previous shipping experience preferred
- Previous experience with shipping software suites preferred
- Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
