Shift Details & Pay
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM / 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM / 1:30 PM (must be flexible within these hours) — $17.00/hr
- 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM / 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM / 10:30 PM (must be flexible within these hours) — $18.00/hr
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime as needed
Position Summary
The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment at the start of the pizza assembly line, ensuring a continuous flow of toppings and ingredients such as pepperoni, sausage, and cheese. This position plays a vital role in maintaining product consistency, quality, and safety standards in a fast-paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned production and packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
- Handle, load, and replenish toppings or ingredients to maintain a steady production flow.
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate shortages to leads or supervisors promptly.
- Maintain consistent speed, accuracy, and product quality throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement and uphold accountability for production output.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Must have 1–2 years of experience in a production, assembly, or machine operation role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and general safety regulations.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent productivity.
- Experience in food manufacturing or pizza production preferred.
- Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
- Clean, high-volume production environment.
- Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive motions required.
- Must be comfortable working in cold or refrigerated conditions (typical of food processing).
- PPE Required: Steel-toed Oil & Slip resistant shoes.
