Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33315
? Pay Rate: $22/hour
? Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (rotating days)
? Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (6-month initial contract)
? Work Setup: Onsite, outdoor and industrial recycling facility
? What's a typical day as a Machine Operator III? You will:

Feed baler infeed belts to maintain continuous operation.

Feed sort line metering bins to ensure efficient material flow.
-
Push up and manage material piles to support operations.
-
Transfer and receive loose material loads.
-
Prevent back-ups in sort line outfeed areas.
-
Keep bay doors, ramps, and work areas clear of debris.
-
Perform housekeeping duties across the tip floor and work areas.
-
Operate loader equipment according to training, assessments, and operator manuals.

Maintain level loads and properly dump material into metering bins.
-
Monitor materials for contaminants and remove as needed.
-
Communicate with baler operators regarding material flow changes.
-
Coordinate safely with other operators, forklift drivers, and pedestrians.

Perform daily equipment inspections and complete required checklists.
-
Clean equipment including engine, radiator, cab, and windows daily.

Submit maintenance requests and stop operations if safety issues arise.

Complete daily preventive maintenance within assigned timeframes.

Participate in environmental, health, and safety programs.

Complete required paperwork and documentation.
