Maintenance Technician (King of Prussia, PA)

Our client in Food and Beverages is hiring a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician. Hours for this position are 2:00 Pm – 11:-00 Pm Monday through Friday. This position is a Direct Hire role.
Maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and preventative maintenance systems and processes.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during scheduled downtime periods.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, troubleshooting and repair of production machine.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance.
Use a variety of hand & power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to the proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Lockout tag out process and procedures.
Basic Machining, drilling, tapping and fabrication.
Motor and Gearbox, Roller Chain, Sprockets, Bearing, ECT Installation Required.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS, AND PREFERRED SKILLS
High school diploma/GED or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
3-5 years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience.
Convey Belt and Tracking Knowledge
Silo, Bulk Pneumatic Systems (these systems are specific to the food and beverage industry. Knowledge in this area is essential for this role).
Welding, Tig, Mig or Stick.
