Kelly Services is seeking for a Manufacturing Associate Location: West Sacramento, CA
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (pay weekly)
Night shift About the Role: As a Manufacturing Associate, you will align, calibrate, and execute test methods of varied complexity according to operational plans and customer demand. You will thrive in a team-oriented, goal-focused environment, following Daily Management principles and receiving immediate guidance and feedback to support daily, monthly, and quarterly objectives. Our work delivers both instruments and reagents to customers in hospital and laboratory environments, supporting patient health. Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, comprehend, and follow established work instructions and procedures, with emphasis on quality.
  • Execute the daily production plan to ensure due date conformance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Train on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow engineering drawings, work orders, and other written/verbal specifications while maintaining FDA requirements.
  • Perform assembly tasks per SOPs, under supervision.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and escalate as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot and prioritize quality.
  • Identify and recommend quality improvements for production methods, equipment, product quality, and efficiencies.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Train new team members on processes and equipment as needed.
  • Complete paperwork accurately, maintain production records, and report work status.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in similar position (experience in a regulated industry-highly preferred)
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications required.
  • Solid decision-making and priority-setting skills.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse, team-driven environment.
Physical Demands:
  • Stand for prolonged periods (up to 80% of shift).
  • Frequently required to talk, hear, handle, reach above/below shoulder height, bend, kneel, lift, and sit.
  • Use proper lifting techniques to move items up to 30 lbs.
  • Perform repetitive manual tasks to achieve production goals.
