Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician-II - 26033
Location: On-Site, Fremont, CA
Schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm (start/end time can shift by one hour)
Classification: W2 Under Staffing Supplier
Contract Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $75.45/hour

An established manufacturing site is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician to support the final-phase testing and troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment on the assembly line. The role is essential for maintaining machine quality and operational functionality before shipment, emphasizing diagnostic skills, electrical testing, and documentation accuracy. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in electromechanical equipment at the end of the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct basic electrical testing, including measuring voltage, resistance, and continuity, and perform isolation testing on sensitive equipment.
  • Execute automated test scripts and run queries via command line interfaces.
  • Maintain and update existing test and troubleshooting documentation to ensure quality standards.
  • Interpret functional schematics and circuit diagrams for effective problem resolution.
  • Analyze CAN network data to assist in system diagnostics.
  • Identify and report both known and new technical issues with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with electromechanical system assembly, testing, or troubleshooting.
  • Strong triage and troubleshooting skills in a production environment.
  • Proficient in electrical testing and the use of relevant hand tools.
  • Experience with CAN bus diagnostic tools and data logging systems.
  • Familiarity with using command line interfaces for test automation and querying.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in technical documentation and issue reporting.
