Pay Rate: $27/HR
Shift: Day shift (6AM - 2:30) Monday - Friday
Job Description:
The Manufacturing Technician I supports Biosensor consumables production, performing hands-on upstream and downstream manufacturing activities. Key responsibilities include:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow safety protocols and comply with all required PPE and safety regulations.
- Perform manufacturing activities such as cutting, clamping, gluing, coiling, polishing, biosensor coating, backfilling, and packaging.
- Execute production operations with strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
- Stage and prepare materials for production, including lot number assignment, batch record and label printing.
- Operate ERP system to open/issue materials and close production work orders.
- Use manufacturing equipment: pipets, balances, reagent filling machines, polishing and coating equipment.
- Final product packaging following Qualification Release.
- Support inventory management: physical counts, reviewing parts prior to storage, and executing production orders.
- Report material non-conformities at any stage of production.
- Assist with hazardous waste (Hazwaste) management and disposal.
- Learn new processes introduced through New Product Introduction (NPI).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification/diploma in Life Sciences is a plus.
- Basic dilution and reagent preparation skills preferred.
- Proficiency with laboratory instruments, SOPs, and documentation required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate skills in Excel and data management preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (work orders entry, part issuance) highly desired.
