Description

Kelly Services is hiring a Material Handler on behalf of a worldwide leader in their industry servicing the aerospace, construction, marine, medical, on/off-road vehicles, rail, and water treatment industries.

$17.00 Per Hour (Pay increase upon hire)

2nd Shift Monday – Thursday 4:30 pm – 3:00 am

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in unloading of trucks and receive incoming parts and materials
  • Verify stock with Inventory Clerk/Purchasing Department
  • Tag and stock parts/locations, visually from work order and/or with barcoding system
  • Assign materials/parts and pull/deliver to stock locations or production operators
  • Store/Handle/Pull/Deliver consignment inventory
  • Perform inventory and/or cycle counting procedures
  • Use of tow motors, pallet jacks, scales, the current racking system and computer and/or barcoding systems, scanners, lifts, etc.
Physical Demands
  • Constantly on feet or walking, intermittent seated work
  • Constantly handling, gripping, holding, moving materials such as steel, wooden pallets, handheld scanners, cardboard materials, metal hoppers, plastic (bins, bags, etc.)
  • Constant reaching (above head/below waist), bending, stooping
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of shipping and receiving experience
  • Previous tow motor experience
