Why you should apply to be a Material Handler:
- Long Term
- Great pay rate – $17.70 hr.
- Shift Monday-Friday:
- 6am-6pm
- Replenish cartons and foils as needed.
- Filling out lineside sheets as needed.
- Check formulation and resin levels.
- Resins staged or change if low and need replacement.
- Pre wrap up and push finished product carts in hallway, then push them to warehouse.
- Place empty carts with pallets and liners by staging area.
- Check rework, fill out replenishment form.
- Check green recycle bins for rework, also check units as well as reconciliation gaylord.
- Trash bags from lines rework are replaced.
- Check shredder bins and potentially replenishment orders.
- Take waste into warehouse to be loaded into trailers.
- Check silo reading levels at shift start. Make sure Silo switch log and RMT updated.
- Complete repalletization sheet (broken/damage pallets).
- Waste plastic needs to be changed out when is full.
- Verified the F docks are organized, and doors are not blocked.
- Shredder bins dumped and replaced with an empty bin on lines and rework lines.
- Verify that all the units stating area are replenished with raw materials.
- Overall cleanliness, maintained warehouse, isles, waste plastic, dock, staging area clean and orderly.
This job might be an outstanding fit for those who:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Six (3) months of related experience and/or training.
- Outstanding attendance record required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple written and/or verbal instructions and emails
- Ability to learn directions, observations and mistakes, and apply correct procedures using good judgement
- Ability to record information such as training and attendance records
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using units in American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Basis computer skills such as the ability to input information via keyboard and mouse
- Excellent written, oral communication, organization and computer skills will be needed.
- Job duties are performed in a climate controlled environment
- Ability to be at assigned work area at scheduled time, demonstrating reliable and punctual attendance, including taking and returning from breaks and attending meetings in a timely manner
